Gold is a latest new coming   Indian sports movie` directed by Reema Kagti and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under the banner Of Excel Entertainment. It is a Movie based on the life of hockey player Balbir Singh Sr., who was on the team when India Won First Olympic medal as a free nation in 1948.

Filming

Among others, the Arjuna Award winner and former Indian national Hockey team captain, Sandeep Singh, was assigned to train the actors to improve their skills of hockey . The most of the shooting is being done in England at Yorkshire and the Midlands. Director Reema Kagti said “It’s a fictional take on what happened. Also, it is not just the golden victory in 1948 we will be looking at, but it will encompass 12 crucial years in India’s history.” The movie began principal photography on 2 June 2017. It is expected to Come in theaters on August 15, 2018.This Movie Based on the biography  of a  Hockey player
